Jewel is quite a little gem. She's got the smooth trot of her mother and the refinement of her sire. Her personality is pretty interesting in that you really have to earn her trust. Her dam was the same way. Once she trusts you, anything goes. Jewel will stay behind to get extra attention and will pout when she doesn't get her way, but not in a bad way ...she just wants you to know that she doesn't like that she did get her way. She has a very round, muscular body type and is currently 14hh. She might grow another inch or so and will definately fill out in her girth more. She will be started under saddle this winter if she stays here.
Her mother was beginning conditioning as an endurance horse when she broke her leg in an accident and had to be put down. Because of this, we'd really like to get a Davenport filly back from Jewel in the next few years.
